I’d like to introduce all of you to Lindsay McCullough, new VisionWorkshops Program Director! She will be a fantastic addition to the team. This organization will benefit greatly from Lindsay’s energy, enthusiasm, and creative talent.
Lindsay was most recently Photography and Multimedia Editor at WashingtonPost.com. In addition to producing award-winning multimedia pieces for the Post, she served as manager of daily news operations for the department’s seven photo editors. Lindsay also acted as lead trainer for photo related topics. She served as intern coordinator, career fair scout and built professional relationships with university department heads.
Lindsay also is a wonderful teacher. She ran the Juvenile Treatment Court program a few years back for VisionWorkshops, and is a former professional swim coach as well. She’s been a presenter at the Corcoran’s FOCUS on Photojournalism workshops and the Women Photojournalists of Washington series. She’s a co-founder of the White House News Photographers Association New Media Contest. She is a graduate of the Corcoran College of Art and Design’s photojournalism program.
